The participants will be introduced to the basic principles and receive practical training at the laboratory level in the technique of confocal microscopy. The broad spectrum of biomedical applications will also be covered.

Morning Session: lectures to be held at the Seminar Room of the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras.

Evening Session: practical laboratory training & hands-on sessions to be held at the Lab. of Biochemistry, Department of Chemistry, 1st floor (part 1) and Lab. οf Biomechanics & Biomedical Engineering, Dept of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics, new building, 2nd floor (part 2).

Application/Registration is conducted upon receipt at  of a short CV and motivation statement. The participant’s number is limited (up to 20-30 graduate students).
